Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty
Ashton Blaise Whitty, an actress, was born 1 October 1995, in Berkeley, California. She is a famous actress who has appeared on Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.
Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is comprised of actors and she has also been pursuing both careers. She made her debut at the age of nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). In 1988, she played the leading role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo (1988), as well as being one of the actors in The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. In 1989, she portrayed Nanni Moretti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). The film Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career took off. she could change from playing young girls into larger, more sophisticated role. The film received a great reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. She's made three films with her father, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome, and Phantom of the opera. The Phantom of the Opera is a film that was created together with her late father, is the third of three films she's worked on. The other two were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni employed her deeply absorbed and intense acting style in Condannato a nozze. Also, she was a part of the part in the international cast of Queen Margot which was directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995, she collaborated with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion , which again earned her a David diDonatello as well as an award called a Grolla d'oro. Asia started directing short films in the year 1994. The two she directed were Prospettive In 1996, she directed a documentary about her father, and Abel/Asia in 1998, about the famous film director Abel Ferrara. This latter was presented at the Rome Film Festival. Asia directed her debut feature film Scarlet Diva (2000). It was a collaborative effort with Asia as well as screenwriter/actress Linda McCartney. In May of 2000, the film was released both in Italy and across the world. The film was awarded an award at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York. In 2001, following the directing of a number of music videos and giving birth, she welcomed her first child, Anna Lou. The year 2002 saw Asia in The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thrille directed with Vin Diesel. Asia's short stories have also appeared in high-profile publications.
